Your main collecting interests?

BT optical and chip cards: Public cards, test, trial and closed user group (oil rigs and prisons). Recently started adding BT internal, medical and promotional issues to my colection.

Your thoughts on remotes?

I have a few BT Globalcards as they could be considered as definitives but otherwise no real interest in these, top up cards or giftcards

About Me

Hi, I am a retired BT Engineer (not payphones). I started collecting phonecards in 1992 with a BT "Post Office" card and although I had a break of many years I have recently revived my interest in fusilately.

Your main collecting interests?

My current main areas of interest are:

UK = Closed User Groups,Paytelco, IPL, IPLS, NWP/SmartZ, Kite, Cambridge, BT chip (public, definitive, phonecard plus), BT test & service, BT mint sealed optical cards.

France = Public Cards

Germany = PD series

Your thoughts on remotes?

In the main I am not interested in remotes, although I do collect some Closed User Group remotes.

About Me

I have been collecting Phonecards for about 20 years and have previously served the club on the committee. Family commitments mean that I do not have as much time as I would like to spend on collecting and visiting the club fairs.

Your main collecting interests?

I started collecting Phonecards because of a long time interest in Buses, Coaches & Trams. However, as this is a limited topic I am also interested in any cards from Australia.

Your thoughts on remotes?

They are OK but do not provoke the interest that existed with conventional cards.

How did you hear of the club & site?

Via a fair in Weston-super-Mare some years ago.

About Me

Starting collecting in 1995 when I was 15 after doing 2 weeks work experience as BT field service engineer, which got me hooked in collecting, as I aquired a large number of brand new service cards etc, which were great for trading at the many fairs and meets I used to attend. Collected for a few years. Then end 2013 have just found my collection of card and have decided to start collecting again. I am pleased to find that cards are now good value for money, but also see that there are a lot less collectors.

Your main collecting interests?

All mint and unused BT cards , mainly optical cards, by might start collecting the chip cards soon.

Your thoughts on remotes?

Not for me
